👋 I’m Jiaxiong.
Presently, I work as a Post-doctoral Fellow with Prof. Xiaojuan Ma at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). In June 2022, I obtained my Ph.D. degree from Tsinghua University (THU). My thesis, titled The Conversational User Interface Design Method Based on Emotional Design Theory, was awarded the Outstanding Thesis Award and was supervised by Professor Yingqing Xu.
My research focuses on leveraging emotional design methods to endow conversational agents with unique linguistic capabilities, thereby enhancing the conversational user experience (UX) and improving their perceived task intelligence, social intelligence, and emotional intelligence. Currently, I am actively recruiting students interested in design and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) projects, who are also seeking mentorship and guidance to advance their academic and practical skills in this field.
